MED Newsletter #1, April, 1964. Co-Editors: Louise McAuliffe Pat Owen. Purpose: News, old and new, of former colleagues and friends, is the aim of this newsletter. Through the years since the MED became the AEC, many varied and noteworthy events have taken place which are of interest to all MEDer's and with this thought in mind a few of the "oldtimers" met to organize a society or association to which the privileged workers of the MED could contribute such items of interest and suggestions that would bring together all members by newsletter at least once a year and start plans rolling for future alumni dinners. Membership Card: At long last, here is your membership card. And if you know of anyone who is not on the attached list, please forward his name. We will send him a copy of this letter with an invitation to join. We want to reach as many MEDer's as possible before the plans are coordinated for the Alumni Dinner In September, 1964, at the Army-Navy Club, Arlington, Virginia.
